If you grew up in a dysfunctional family, this is for you.
You’re here because you’re finally DONE.
>Done sacrificing your nervous system for toxic family relationships
>Done feeling responsible for the lives and expectations of other grown adults
>Done carrying the crushing weight of guilt and shame that emotionally immature family members use to control you
>Done letting the childhood trauma you didn’t ask for keep you stuck, stressed and separated from the life you want
You feel the quiet pull toward a happy, peaceful and abundant life where guilt, shame and fear no longer call the shots - a life that finally feels your own.
I wrote The Restorative Lifestyle Method to give adult daughters of dysfunctional families a clear path toward setting boundaries, breaking cycles and rebuilding life on their own terms.
No need for years of therapy and endless frustration.
This interactive book, hosted here on Substack, offers a detailed, step-by-step roadmap out of the thick, disorienting fog of dysfunctional family trauma.
The Restorative Lifestyle Method guides you through 4 lifestyle pillars that transform you from the inside out:
I. BOUNDARIES: Set unapologetic boundaries that redefine you, what you’ll tolerate, and who gets access.
II. MOVEMENT: Use physical practices to resolve trauma and direct the flow of your life with creativity and intention.
III. EXPLORATION: Excavate your survival layers; allow the real you to rise to the surface and flourish.
IV. ENERGETIC SELF-CARE: Care for yourself in a way that puts your inner child at ease and raises your vibration, so that you may attract the relationships, opportunities, finances, health and overall life you’ve always dreamed of.

About Me
I’m Danielle, and I’d be honored to guide you toward a happier, more peaceful and abundant life. In fact, it’s my life’s mission.
I didn’t come to this work academically or theoretically, but rather through absolute personal necessity.
I grew up surrounded by emotionally immature, narcissistic, alcoholic, and addiction-affected adults. My childhood was defined by emotional and economic instability, high-conflict divorce, medical crises, hot tempers, violent outbursts, and various forms of physical, mental, and emotional abuse. As my caregivers passed me among relatives to provide my basic care, I developed no clear sense of belonging or self-worth and entered my teens, early adulthood, and motherhood in pure survival mode.
As an adult and new mom, I faced the secondary trauma many adult daughters know too well: family estrangement.
Estrangement didn’t feel like a choice, but rather a painful, last-resort decision to create space and safety for myself and my new family. It was the only way I could begin to heal, regulate, and learn how to function healthily as an adult and mother.
For more than a decade, I immersed myself in the work necessary to improving my life. I studied the literature; explored therapy and coaching; consumed every book, video, podcast, and training I could find; experimented, failed, refined, and kept going.
Piece by piece, I discovered myself for the first time, rebuilt my life, and broke cycles for the next generation.
About five years ago, something clicked. I could finally see what I had assembled for myself not as scattered theories and tools, but as a clear, efficient roadmap — one that other adult daughters shouldn’t have to spend decades piecing together on their own.
So, I began writing it down.
The Restorative Lifestyle Method is the detailed, practical instructions I wish I had many years earlier. It’s the exact process that freed me from the familiar fog of dysfunction and allowed me to create a grounded, abundant life I genuinely love, both for myself and for my own family.
This work is about finally coming home to yourself and building a life that honors you as a worthy and sovereign woman.
I’ve included many detailed personal stories from my childhood and adult healing journey within The Restorative Lifestyle Method chapters —stories I won’t share anywhere else.
